In the late 80's, after studying Art and Design in
Paris, Olivier Pojzman moved from
France to the United States to pursue photography.
Olivier started using digital photography from the
technology's very inception, incorporating this new
media with all its novel opportunities into both his
artistic and professional work.
During the past 15 years, Olivier has traveled
to over 30 countries around the world, from Asia to
Africa, creating unforgettable images for international
advertising agencies and corporate clients and international
magazines.
In addition to his advertising and corporate work,
Olivier has steadfastly pursued a passion for fine
art photography. His artistic work has been
displayed by galleries and fine art publishers
in the U.S. and abroad as well as numerous corporations,
hotels, restaurants and other public venues.
Olivier's most recent work focuses on exquisite and
oversized panoramic images that express his unique
vision of natural and urban spaces. Printed on canvas
and stretched like paintings, these photographs vary
from 4' to 12' long and create an amazingly realistic
image that is the visual fusion of a painting and a
photograph.
These photos represent unforgettable images
of iconic cities and landscapes from all over
the world. They create an expressive window
onto a distant but familiar world. The size, color
and texture of these beautiful canvases create an indelible
sense of immediacy and presence—as
if the viewer were actually there, in the moment, at
the click of the shutter.
Each limited edition giclée print
is signed and certified by the artist, printed on cotton
canvas using archival inks and UV coated.
